#Survival Guides

Something I have thought about for a long time is introducing Survival Guides for all aspects of coping with the most stressful environments for Aspergers Girls.

The most stressful environments I can think of are educational institutions. From the age of 11 and upwards our life is more complex with not only our bodies maturing but the transition from Primary to Secondary School and the pressures not only socially but in an educational sense.

The #SurvivalGuide is to help girls from the age of 11 through High School to College and further onto Education sharing the secrets and tips and tricks that I have gathered though out my educational career.

Starting every Tuesday I will be posting my tips on a variety of issues that have to do with Education.   From how to cope with the logistics of getting around High School and the problem areas that every Aspergers Girl faces until they are ready to move onto the next step in education.

Over the next three weeks I will be focusing on high school for age 11 to 16 years old.
I will be posting the first #SurvivalGuide today with tips on how to navigate logistically around High School that will avoid or minimise the amount of stress and anxiety felt in corridors and time management on how to get to lessons with out the panic on being late.

For World Wide readers - Outside of the UK:

Hello to my American and other world wide readers!
I am going to be mainly focusing on the UK education system and settings. All the advice and tips and tricks I will give are going to be Universal, so no need to worry there.
However there might be a time where I will be talking about how to access special needs services in School, College (senior years in USA) and University in the British School System. I apologise if some of the advise I give is not useful in other countries.
I hope the Universal advise I give will aid you through any challenges you face.

So keep your eyes on tuesdays from now on!
