So i'm now back in my university building. I talk alot about it and released you guys have never seen it so let me introduce you to my main building and some of the sights of media city UK. The Big Blue Building is my University building that we share with ITV, they live upstairs and see into the third floor of our bit of the building. Media students haven't yet began to make begging signs out of cardboard to get a job. We basically let our experience for ourselves.  Media City is dominated by the BBC, this is their North West home and national base as well as Broadcasting house where the majority of the productions are still based! The BBC and ITV do like using our facilities and the students that are housed here to do work for them. Students are also willing allowed to work sometimes for CBBC and CBBIES which is awesome as we all love to be big kids. Blue Peter is housed at Media City and the Garden is next to the tram stop. It's not as big as the old one though! T

random title again but i've just had stitches removed and survived a minor op which happened last week.  I sat like a trooper but having any type of procedure in a medical environment can be petrifying for the best of us!  Whether it's a routine appointment to a full on surgery being Aspergers can be a up hill battle of wills within itself.  I have noticed that medical dramas don't really attempt to show how AS people cope, the only one I can think of in the UK is Holby City which did have a Aspergers character undergoing heart surgery.   The character wasn't a girl , of course it was a male! But it was done to an ok standard with the Aspergers character being portrayed as slightly stupid and couldn't consent to surgery without a carer which can sometimes be case in the form of social skills and anxiety purposes rather than the fact that usually AS people will gather as much information as possible to find out what is happening to them. Thats what I did I watched yo

#Awkward - Girls and Boys with Aspergers

This is something that I have observed recently as I have gone back to a Autism resource centre. I've found that connecting with our male counterparts can be difficult and as the title suggests Awkward to the point where you want to flea the room. This awkwardness may stem from the way that males and females feel that they cannot interact with each other which is normal. Other things from a girls perspective ( we don't get to say that a lot ) is that in a room full of Aspergers people only 1 or maybe 2 will be girls and in that case it might be better to just let the girls integrate with each other without the pressure of having in some cases a male dominated environment. Aspergers is a hard thing to live with at the best of times but why is it that girls feel like the odd one out rather than comfortable. It may depend on the way a boy looks at her for example - AS people are naturally hard to read but when you have a group of them in a room who aren't very good at soci
